The obstacle for elementry kids

The biggest obstacle i think kids face in elementry school is focusing on school. since there in elementry school there still kinda young so there gonnna struggle to learn new things about school like new topics like math since they will have to learn how to do them or just remembering other information that the teachers may teach you. since there young they may be harder to teach since they wanna joke around or just not pay attention. i know when i was in elementry school i didnt want to focus on the teachers and what there saying and teaching i always was paying attention to what others were doing. so this is what i believe is the biggest obstacle for children in elementry school is.

  1. I agree with you. I think that learning for children is hard because they cant focus. I didn't even think about math class but that is a really good point. Also the child's handwriting may have an influence. Children may have problems with writing so on top of having a shorter attention span, no one may be able to read their writing to help them in school. I also think that a child's home environment is a big influence, children seem to act like the people the look up to and those people could be loud, careless or lazy.

  2. I agree with you on this. I was never able to pay attention in elementary school and was never motivated to do any school work. Now that children are having to learn more things I think it's going to be really hard for them to learn all of it and to stay focused and not get discouraged.

  3. I agree. Kids want to play and not pay attention to important stuff. Schools are laying off teachers too so now the chances of elementary children not paying attention increase because the teachers has more kids to try and help which can be hard.

  4. I agree. Many children at that age don't find school important and a waste of time. They won't realize until later in life that it is one the most important thing in your life. They learn bad habits especially if they don't have a teacher that is hard on their students.

  5. I agree. Also, I believe part of the problem is that parents in the US often don't take a very active role in their children's schooling. This certainly isn't always the case, but I believe the reason we, the US, are falling behind in world-wide progress/knowledge testing is that education isn't a top priority for children.
